Open burning starts October 15th, 2011 and ends April 30, 2012. You need a burning permit from the local Firehall and you must call a new (starting October 15th, 2011) toll-free Outdoor Burning Hotline: 1-855-262-2876 to find out if burning is permitted the day you want to burn outdoors.
